PAINT FIRST.

ask questions later.

Charlotte Lomax is a Huddersfield-born painter and laundrette owner whose work pulses with the raw, unapologetic energy of the studio. Her art refuses to whisper; it demands space, confrontation, and joy.

The ‘Cowgirls & Laundrettes’ series was born in the blue-walled Carr Street Laundrette. It is a collision of the rhythmic hum of washing machines and the grit of West Yorkshire life—a celebration of modern rebellion painted in bold steel blue and high-end chocolate brown. Lomax’s work isn't just displayed; it's installations that conquer the room.
